SERVICES:
- Persons with Barriers:
- Fast Track – Designed for people who have been unsuccessful in traditional job search activities.
- Supported Work – Is recommended for individuals with little or no work history, and are unsuccessful at finding employment.
- Strategies for Success – Provides an intensive 60-day in-home assessment and work experience for families who lack the skills necessary to balance the demands of work and home.
- Persons with Disabilities: Goodwill provides a wide array of services to persons with disabilities. All services are individually designed and tailored to meet specific individual needs.
- Time Limited Services – These are services designed to assist individuals in identifying and removing barriers that prevent success in the workplace. Employability assessment, employee development services, employment placement services.
- Long Term Services – These are services for persons, whom because of the nature of their disability require long-term support services to be employed. Generally, persons participating in long-term services have developmental disabilities or chronic mental illnesses. Sheltered employment services, supported employment, enclaves and individual placement.
- Technology Services:
- Goodwill Technology Services –
- In conjunction with the Oregon Commission for the Blind, offers Education & Resource Center patrons free use of adapted workstations.
- Is a demonstration and training center for adaptive technology. Whether the barrier is a visual impairment, hearing loss, mobility impairment, or learning disability, our goal is to use technology to help bridge the gap.
- Is here for support. Our highly trained staff develops a comprehensive technology and training plan specifically designed to meet each person’s goals.
